Remove PDF Pages Without Uploading Your Files
Most online PDF tools require you to upload your documents to a remote server. Your files travel across the internet, sit on someone else's infrastructure, and you have to trust that they're deleted afterward. This tool works differently — everything runs directly in your web browser. Your PDF is processed on your device using JavaScript, and no data is ever sent to a server.
This means faster processing (no upload/download wait), complete privacy (your files stay on your machine), and no file size limits imposed by server constraints. Whether you're removing confidential pages before sharing a document or trimming a report, your data stays yours.
Choose Which Pages to Keep or Remove
Unlike most PDF page removers that only let you delete pages, this tool offers a unique mode toggle. Switch between "Remove selected" and "Keep selected" modes depending on your workflow. If you need just a few pages from a large document, Keep mode lets you pick exactly what you want without clicking through dozens of unwanted pages.
You can also select pages in bulk using the Odd Pages and Even Pages buttons — perfect for removing blank backs from double-sided scans. Or type specific page ranges like "3-7, 12, 15-20" for precise control.
How Page Removal Works
The removal process uses pdf-lib, an open-source JavaScript library for PDF manipulation. When you click remove, the tool creates a brand new PDF document and copies only the pages you chose to keep. The original formatting, fonts, images, and links are preserved exactly. Your original file is never modified — a completely new file is generated.
When to Use a PDF Page Remover
- Removing cover pages or title pages — strip the first page before distributing a document.
- Deleting blank pages — use odd/even selection to quickly remove blank backs from scanned documents.
- Trimming appendices — remove appendices, indexes, or reference sections you don't need.
- Extracting specific sections — use Keep mode to pull out just the pages you need from a large PDF.
- Removing confidential pages — delete sensitive pages before sharing a document externally.
